Kiwanis Club of Harrisonburg

Update July 14, 2021

The Kiwanis Club of Harrisonburg is meeting via zoom the second and third Tuesday of each month beginning at 12:00 pm through July.

EFFECTIVE AUGUST 3, 2021, WE WILL BE RETURNING TO IN-PERSON MEETINGS AT THE TRADITIONS FAMILY RESTAURANT, 625 MT CLINTON PIKE, HARRISONBURG. Meetings start at 12:00 noon with lunch available at 11:30 am and they will be the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays.

March 8, 2021

For several years the club has supported the Pediatric Unit at Sentara Medical Center. Pictured is Dennis Baugh, club member and District Governor, making our annual presentation in the amount of $1,500 to Janet Wendelken, Senior Development Officer for the RMH Foundation.


February 2, 2021:

Pictured are Lisa Shull, Executive Director or Explore More Discovery Museum, received a $7,000 donation from Kiwanis Club Member and District Governor, Dennis Baugh.  This program is a Signature Project of the club.


MEETINGS:

The club has begun meeting virtually on ZOOM. The scheduled for the next several months is as follows:

  • NOTE NEW START TIMES ARE 12:00 NOON
  • Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 12:00 pm; Monthly Club Meeting
  • Tuesday, July 20, 2021 – Monthly Board Meeting immediately after Club Meeting

We ask that you continue to support those organizations we do and are listed under Scholarships and Grants. They need our help during this critical time.
